THE 55TH ANNIVERSARY OF MONGOLIA-SINGAPORE DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS CELEBRATED IN SINGAPORE

On 27 June 2025, the Embassy of Mongolia in the Republic of Singapore hosted a reception to commemorate the National Day of Mongolia – the 104th Anniversary of the People’s Revolution and the 55th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Republic of Singapore.

In his opening speech, His Excellency Mr. Sosorbaram Enkhbayar, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Singapore briefed the guests on the historic milestones of relations between Mongolia and Singapore and the present state of bilateral cooperation.

Her Excellency Ms. Gan Siow Huang, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Trade & Industry of the Republic of Singapore, who was the main guest of honour at the reception congratulated guests on the 55th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries and expressed her satisfaction on successful development of bilateral relations.

Following the speeches, Mongolian artists Ganbold Naranjargal and Baatarnum Amarsaikhan performed national anthems of Mongolia and Singapore.

The reception was attended by around 100 guests, including officials from Singapore’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other ministries and departments, representatives of partner institutions and organizations, individuals supportive of Mongolia-Singapore relations, as well as Ambassadors and representatives of diplomatic corps, and members of the Mongolian community in Singapore.
