Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Singapore, H.E. Mrs. Uyanga Ganbold, attended the award ceremony of the 7th Copernicus International Mathematics Olympiad

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Singapore, H.E. Mrs. Uyanga Ganbold, attended the award ceremony of the 7th Copernicus International Mathematics Olympiad on 26 June 2026 and delivered congratulatory remarks to the participants.

The Olympiad, held in Singapore from 22 to 27 June 2026, brought together more than 300 students from 15 countries. The Mongolian team achieved excellent results, winning one silver medal, three bronze medals, and one special award.

• O. Temuujin – Grade 10 student, School No. 1, Kherlen soum, Khentii Province

• B. Oyunomin – Grade 10 student, School No. 1, Kherlen soum, Khentii Province

Special Award

• B. Turbold – Grade 6 student, Amjilt Cyber School

The participation of the Mongolian team was successfully coordinated by teachers Z. Dolgorsuren and D. Aldardelger of the “Az Bogd Aldar” NGO.

Ambassador Uyanga highly commended the students’ achievements and congratulated them for proudly representing Mongolia on the international stage and showcasing the talent, knowledge, and abilities of Mongolian children to the world.

She also expressed her best wishes for their continued academic success and future achievements in international competitions, encouraging them to make meaningful contributions to the development and progress of Mongolia. The Ambassador further expressed her appreciation to the teachers, coaches, parents, and guardians whose dedication and support helped the students achieve these accomplishments.
