AMBASSADOR UYANGA GANBOLD MEETS MINISTER GRACE FU

H.E. Ms Uyanga Ganbold, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Singapore, met with Ms Grace Fu, Minister for Sustainability and the Environment and Minister-in-charge of Trade Relations, on 1 September 2026.

The two sides discussed ways to strengthen Mongolia–Singapore relations and expand cooperation in trade and investment. Particular attention was given to operationalising the Implementation Agreement on carbon credits cooperation under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement and supporting renewable-energy and coal-to-green-energy transition projects.

Minister Grace Fu conveyed Singapore’s readiness to support capacity building for relevant Mongolian officials, including through the Singapore Cooperation Programme, and to facilitate stronger connections between businesses from the two countries.

Both sides agreed to continue advancing practical cooperation in carbon markets, renewable energy, green finance and sustainable development.
