MONGOLIA AND SINGAPORE DISCUSS CARBON-MARKET COOPERATION

Her Excellency Ms G.Uyanga, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Singapore, received representatives of Singapore’s Ministry of Trade and Industry and National Environment Agency on 18 September 2026.

The meeting focused on operationalising the bilateral cooperation agreement under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, including the project application process, eligible sectors and approved methodologies.

Both sides agreed to cooperate in supporting green-energy, reforestation and nature-based projects, connecting project developers with investors, and promoting technical knowledge-sharing and capacity-building.
